A very chirpy John Howard was appealing to the kids this morning, hitting the FM breakfast airwaves in Melbourne.
First he talked up job opportunities on Nova, during a love cross to his morning walk.
Then he braved FOX FM where he joked – in a granddad kind of way – about rowers telling him to ‘get lost’ on his morning walks.
The PM revealed he listens to a range of things on his iPod – everything from Radio National to Classic FM – and that his favourite song is Walk of Life by Dire Straits. “You haven’t played it for a while,” he quipped.
After promising to join the breakfast team in the studio in the future, Howard signed off with an awkward “love you”.
