Treasurer Peter Costello spends his time in the shower practicing his witticisms, according to his wife, Tanya, who sought to show her husband in a new, personal light.
He also lays awake at night, “tossing and turning as he worries about people's jobs, people's situations. I've watched him agonise about budget decisions,” she said at the Treasurer’s campaign launch in Melbourne today.
