Kevin appeared on Triple M's Shebang this morning for a good old chin-wag about his new first home buyers' saving scheme, the Government's laziness towards internet broadband and Peter Garrett's recent off-air comments.
"He, to choose his own words, 'stuffed up'. He's sorry about that and we move on," Mr Rudd said.
When asked to have a look at some paintings that Fifi and Marty have done for a charity auction, Kevin advised them to stick with finger painting.
With three weeks left on the campaign trail, Mr Rudd is getting some help from the home team.
"Therese and my daughter Jess are travelling around with me so their job is to make sure I remain sane." he said.
"Nineteen more sleeps... Yeah I'm getting good sleep at the moment actually."
