21/11 - Andrew Robb's claims are coming unravelled, as it now appears that the 13 Labor candidates he claims were ineligible had complied with regulations and resigned from government posts, but that the agency websites had not been updated.
It has been confirmed that Liberal Party claims were based nothing more than web searches. No futher contact was made with the relevant authoritiies, agencies and boards.
20/11 - With the polls consistently putting the ALP in an election winning position, Liberal MP Andrew Robb has gone to the technicalities, saying that he is in possession of legal advice showing 13 Labor candidates may be ineligible for election.
Mr Robb indicated that should any of the 13 Labor candidates win their seats the Liberal Party would determine their response on a case by case basis.
Robb stated that should George Newhouse take the crucial Sydney seat of Wentworth from Malcolm Turnbull, legal advice indicates that a by-election would have to be held due to Mr Newhouse's ineligibility.
