Three of the Chaser boys, dressed in bunny suits, confronted John Howard on his morning walk this morning.

On Wednesday night, The Chaser's War on Everything aired a song mocking high profile deceased, including Kerry Packer and Princess Diana, in a ditty called "The Eulogy Song" (watch here).

Howard objected: "...heavens above that kind of stuff about Don Bradman and Steve Irwin is contemptible and has basically blotted their copy book ... Why don't they stick to decent, dirt-free humour that we can all enjoy."

This morning, one of the Chaser bunnies said to Howard: "We know you need to pull a rabbit out of your hat, so here's a few."

Howard responded with the somewhat unfortunate line: "You blokes are a lot funnier when you pick on someone who's alive."
