The Prime Minister has been heckled during his morning walk alongside Lake Burley Griffin.
A fellow walker called out, "You're an absolute disgrace, John. A waste of space."
He continued, "you're such a bad economic manager."
Mr Howard ignored the comment, but a young man came to his defence.
"Shut up you idiot," he said.
